- As others have noted: A 21 minute emergency call for help and the police couldn't get to her?! Think again before forcing further cutbacks in vital services. Thank goodness she knew how to protect herself.

- Anybody who would put up a "White Only" sign is a wack job. As others pointed out, there are many other ways to deal with the "problem of hair stuff" that are not overtly discriminatory. Post a sign "Hair must be shampooed before entering pool" and talk to all her tenants about the need.

- I fly 50K miles a year, and you could not pay me to fly US Airways. Their of "US" in their name is slanderous to the USA. And as to their idiots who "responded for the company", if they were not reading the official company line, they should be fired for stupidity.

- Actually the cost in Hawaii (Kauai at least) is closer to $0.43/kwh with all of the "hidden charges". Because so much of the power (the vast majority) is via diesel generators, we have a large carbon footprint, even though our annual usage is among the lowest in the nation (if not the lowest).

- Now you know why he is always smiling when he says "9-9-9" - his tax liability will be cut in half or more! His taxes and those of his fat cat buddies who have gotten even richer in the last 4 years - plus it eliminates the estate tax (which only affects multi-millionaires now).

Soccerdog, sorry to say this but the Air Force is no longer number one in Aviation. The Navy pilots are flying circles around them. I am an old F-4 AF pilot.

Listen- I like your answer to each question. Especially the one about paying for use of the toilet on an airplane. That is exactly what happened on a plane that I was on . There was much turbulence and the lady asked and asked to go. Finally she just-went. That was a different situation,of course,but this is what would happen. I think the airline would change their policy-quickly.
